So I went to this exhibition last weekend, just few days after it was open to public. Although I was at Vancouver Art Gallery for MASH UP exhibition that was ending that day, I couldn't resist spending more time on Picasso's exhibition that was exhibited on the first floor of the gallery.
The exhibition was quite interesting to see how Picasso was inspired and influenced by six women as he met and spent time with them. Picasso's visual approaches jump at least four different from one to another in drawings, paintings, print media, and sculptures to capture each one of the women's figure and soul.
I would say my experience at the exhibition was 50 reading history of their relationship with Picasso and 50 gazing at the artwork and I highly recommend this one. Do not miss the chance to meet Picasso's girls while they are here! :)
