It's How You Hang It

Today, a customer came in to pick-up his extremely large canvas. It was almost too big to fit into his car! I asked him where he was displaying it, because it was so large, he told me that he was going to use it as a focal point in his living room.

It had me thinking about the different ways people are able to hang their photos. I went and looked at the back of all the canvases that were hanging on our walls and many of them are hung using a wire and hook. Some of the smaller ones use a sawtooth hanger and nail. These the most basic methods of hanging up canvases and picture frames, they're easy to use and allow us to quickly rearrange the artwork in a second.

Going back to the story of the customer, he was using his artwork to decorate his home, and I feel it is an easy and effective way to decorate a home without the help of an expensive interior designer. You can easily change the look and feel of your home by hanging up artwork or photos and arranging them in your own way.

I decided to see what other ways I am able to hang photos, besides the usual nail and hanger. There is a hanging system available that uses bars or tracks and wire. The system makes your home look like an art gallery - the system is minimalistic and flexible. Tracks are installed in the ceiling allowing you to place your photos anywhere you want - it doesn't even have to be against the wall! It also eliminates the hole in the walls that nails leave behind. You don't have to worry about changing your mind as to where you want your photos displayed.

It has a sleek and modern style that gives you the flexibility to change it in anyway you want.
